Colson

Founder, ColsonSuperApps LLC. Colson is a software engineer and the founder of ColsonSuperApps LLC, which builds privacy-first, client-side calculators and tools. He designs Abodemic's calculation engine, writes its guides, and is responsible for the accuracy of the math against published standards.

Abodemic Editorial Standards

Mortgage methodology review. Calculations are reviewed against published amortization, DTI, and PMI standards. Every calculator is checked against known-good reference values (the amortization annuity formula, DTI limits, and PMI cancellation rules) before release, and re-verified when rate or tax data is refreshed.

How we keep content accurate

  • Calculations are unit-tested against reference values; a wrong number is treated as a critical bug.
  • Default rate and cost data is sourced from authoritative bodies and dated on every page.
  • Pages carry a "last updated" date and are refreshed on a regular cadence as rates move.
  • We disclose clearly that results are estimates, not loan offers or financial advice.
